Partner Program Terms

Effective: July 28, 2026

These terms cover the Subscord Partner Program. They sit alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which continue to apply.

1. What the program is

The Partner Program rewards you for referring new sellers to Subscord. It is separate from the Subscord affiliate program, which lets sellers recruit affiliates to promote their own products. Nothing in these terms applies to that program.

2. Joining

You apply with a Discord account. Applications are reviewed manually and approval is at our discretion. You are not a partner, and cannot earn commission, until your application is approved. If your application is declined you cannot reapply on your own, but you can contact us and ask for another review.

3. Your partner link

Approved partners get a personal referral code and link. When someone clicks it we store a cookie in their browser. If that person sets up a Subscord server within the attribution window, that server is attributed to you. The most recent partner link clicked is the one that counts. Codes are issued by us, and we may change a code if we need to.

4. Commissions

You earn a share of the amounts a referred server actually pays Subscord for its own subscription, calculated after any discounts and before payment processing fees. Commission applies to the first paid invoice and to later invoices, including renewals and plan changes, for as long as the server keeps paying and the attribution stands. There is no commission for signups that never pay, and none on invoices of zero.

Each commission records the rate in force when it was created. We may change rates at any time under section 7. A change applies to commissions created afterwards and never rewrites what you have already earned.

5. What does not earn

You cannot earn on servers you own, configured yourself, or have dashboard access to. We may also withhold commission where a referral is the result of misleading claims about Subscord, spam, bidding on our brand terms, cookie stuffing, or any other practice that would embarrass a reasonable person.

6. Refunds, chargebacks and adjustments

If a payment is refunded or disputed, the matching commission is reversed. Where it has already been paid out to you, the amount becomes a negative balance that is offset against your future commissions. We may also make manual adjustments, up or down, with a recorded reason.

7. Program settings we may change

The program runs on a set of numbers that we set and may change at any time, at our sole discretion, without needing your agreement. These include the commission rate on first payments, the rate on renewals, whether a rate is a percentage or a fixed amount, the attribution window, the holding period, the minimum payout amount, which Subscord plans and payments are commissionable, and whether applications are open.

We will not apply a change retroactively to commissions that already exist. Specifically: a rate change applies only to commissions created after the change, because each commission records its own rate. A change to the holding period applies only to commissions created after the change, because each commission records its own eligibility date. A change to the attribution window applies only to clicks after the change.

One exception, stated plainly: a change to the minimum payout amount applies to any payout request you make after the change, including requests against a balance you accrued before it. If we raise the minimum, a balance that previously met it may no longer qualify until it grows.

8. Payouts

Commissions become eligible for payout after the holding period, which covers the refund window. Once your eligible balance meets the minimum, you can request a payout from your partner dashboard. A request covers your full eligible balance and only one request can be open at a time. Payouts are made in cryptocurrency to a payout address you provide. The ledger is kept in US dollars; conversion happens outside Subscord, and we are not responsible for the exchange rate, network fees, or the timing of settlement on any blockchain.

You are responsible for the accuracy of your payout address. A payment sent to an address you gave us is final. We cannot recover funds sent to a wrong, closed, or incompatible address, and doing so does not entitle you to be paid twice. You are responsible for your own taxes, and we may ask for tax or identity information before paying you.

Where you owe us money, for example after a refund on a commission we already paid you, we may set that amount off against any current or future commission before paying anything out.

9. Holding or declining a payout request

We may hold a payout request while we look into it, or decline it outright. Reasons include, and are not limited to: we need to verify your identity or your control of the payout address, we suspect fraud, self-referral, or a breach of these terms, the underlying payments are still exposed to refund or chargeback risk, the request is affected by an error in the ledger, your payout details are incomplete or invalid, you have an unresolved negative balance, or paying you would breach sanctions or any other law that applies to us.

If we decline a request, the commissions behind it return to your eligible balance and you can request again once the reason is resolved. Declining a request is not a decision that you have forfeited the money, unless we say so under section 10.

10. Suspension, termination and closing your account

We may suspend or terminate your participation at any time, with or without cause, and without notice where we reasonably think notice would make the problem worse. Suspension stops new attribution and stops new commissions, including on renewals. Termination ends your participation altogether and retires your partner link.

If we end your participation without cause, commissions you have already earned remain payable under the normal rules, including the holding period and the minimum. If we end it because of fraud, self-referral, abuse of the attribution system, misrepresentation of Subscord, or another material breach of these terms, we may withhold, reverse, and permanently forfeit any unpaid amounts, and recover amounts we already paid you on the affected referrals.

You can leave the program whenever you like by contacting us. If you leave, or if your Subscord account is closed, unpaid eligible balances remain subject to the minimum payout amount, and we may instead settle a small remaining balance at our discretion so both sides can close the books.

11. If we pause or close the program

The Partner Program is offered at our discretion and is not a permanent feature of Subscord. We may pause it, close it to new partners, or discontinue it entirely, at any time and for any reason. Pausing or closing the program is not a breach of these terms and does not entitle you to compensation for commissions you might have earned had it continued.

While the program is paused, no new attribution is recorded and no new commissions are created, including on renewals of servers you referred earlier. Your dashboard and your existing balance remain available.

If we discontinue the program, we will tell partners with a balance. Commissions that are already eligible at that point remain payable, and we will give you a reasonable period of at least 30 days to request a payout. We may waive the minimum payout amount so that small balances can be settled, and we may pay out remaining eligible balances without waiting for a request. Commissions still inside the holding period at that point may be cancelled, since the refund exposure they cover has not passed.

12. No guarantee, and what our relationship is not

Nothing here guarantees any level of earnings, any number of referrals, or that any referral will convert. Any figures shown on our site or in our dashboards are illustrations, not forecasts or promises.

You take part as an independent party. These terms do not create employment, an agency, a joint venture, a legal partnership, or any exclusive arrangement between us, and the word "partner" here describes the program only. You may not speak for Subscord, make commitments on our behalf, present yourself as our employee or agent, or use our name and branding except to promote Subscord honestly. We may also run other referral, affiliate, or marketing arrangements with other people on different terms.

The program is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you in connection with the Partner Program is limited to the commissions properly owed to you under these terms and not yet paid.

This program is separate from the affiliate feature described in section 11 of our Terms of Service, which covers sellers paying their own affiliates and under which Subscord owes no commission to anyone. Under the Partner Program, commissions are owed by Subscord to you, on the terms set out on this page.

13. Records

We keep attribution, commission and payout records for accounting and audit purposes. Our records are the authoritative account of what you have earned and what we have paid. Partner dashboards deliberately do not show the identity of referred sellers, only that a referral converted and what it earned. If you think a figure is wrong, contact us and we will look into it.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will update the effective date at the top of this page, and where a change materially affects what you earn or how you get paid we will make reasonable efforts to tell partners with an active balance. Continuing in the program after a change means you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept them, stop using your partner link and contact us to close your account.
